That's right... wife drove the AMG today, stopped in traffic past McKnight and 4th street, and wham... rear ended. Are people fucking blind or are they just retarded???

Here's the culprit...

pushed her so hard, the guy in front had time to get out of the way (sorta) but still knicked his side with the front. AMG held up fine, broken headlight washer and bent bumper.

Sucks about the accident Rage2. Glad to see everyone was ok from it though. The AMG seems to have a big target on the rear bumper.

As for insurance. when I got my quote, they did ask "How many at fault and no-fault collisions have you had in the past 5 years?" . I have no idea how it gets factored into premium rates though. I had one no fault accident, but my rates are pretty good, so I dunno. I think it gets factored in somehow. Any car insurance insiders in here? You shouldn't be punished for other people's stupidity.

You think the AMG is jinxed - my dad's Intrepid has had 3 rear bumpers installed.
The last one was similar to above - they were part of a 4 car chain reaction to a rear ender at 80km. They were car #3 (front of the pack) and got pushed into a 1969 thing so car #4 does not count. They are suing the driver that started the whole thing - the insurance co said they have to sue the driver behind them, but since she was not a fault they told the insurance people that was stupid.

Here's another kicker - my bro also has an Intrepid, he's had his rear bumper smucked in also thanks to the City of Calgary Police.

We are on a first name basis with the dealership thanks to this.

Well well well, I saw the AMG Killer today at Petro Canada in the NE, at the Falconridge/Castleridge plaza. Look like his wife took away his driving privileges lol :rofl:. She was driving and made him fill up the gas tank with petrol, and a baby was in the back seat.
