180hp!!! holy shit!! I only have 176hp and I weigh like 100lbs more! Thats crazy shit. I guess I'll have to buy one of those now dammit!

It is actually only a claimed 172hp with the 180hp coming at 60mph with the ram air effect. Still a very sexy bike though! :thumbsup:

thats at bhp. rwhp will probably match the '03 gixxer 1k or beat it by a little bit. so thats like 155hp

oh a busa has more than 160 rwhp i think.

at the dealer meeting, they were saying 155-160 rwhp... that's gonna be sweet! they are only gonna be in limited #'s too!

wanna know something more sick?

the new kawi 10r is said to be 165 rwhp.... it looks like the 636 with the smaller front fairing around the ram air intakes. :drool:

yeeeaaa my dad showed me a few weeks ago OMG sooo sexxi!!!!!!!!!!!! i think its sooo much nicer than that honda bike with the exhaust tucked under.

but yea i feel sorry for the ppl who bought the 2003 r1's ahaha.


does anyone know if the 2004 r6 is going to have a change in look?

there is some slight changes to the 2004 R6 from the 2003. The can has been revamped for less air restriction (= more hp, yay!)
and the fuel injection and ignition have been remapped for better power output too...
