Well, I always wondered if someone would actually do this to a caravan / voyager. I had to take a picture of it when passing by with my phone today.

I guess I could understand lowering a van... sometimes that actually looks pretty good. But to RAISE an early 90's plymouth voyager with wood siding... That, sir, equals GHETTO.

There is a van just like that around here that has that middle section cut out of it. Its a mini mini van, lol. I saw it yesterday, it looks pretty awesome, ill try to get a picture of it next time i see it around.

This just shouts "I never paid attention to obscure things such as engineering and physics". It's most likely extremely unstable and dangerous to drive around in (normally taller vehicles have stiffer suspensions (and these days, electronic aids) to keep them from doing an untripped roll-over).

I can't imagine a practical purpose. Probably an image/bored kind of thing.

I've seen a bunch of lifted VW vans, but those actually look pretty good:

If you're gonna lift a van, at least make sure it's a 4x4:

^ That one's actually in Japan. My buddy owns a ski lodge outside of Sapporo (www.bdlodge.com) and has a side business exporting cars. The Delica's are kind of his specialty, and he ships parts for them. He's got 10 of them at his lodge as rental cars for backcountry skiiers :)

But yes, there are a TON of them out here, because everybody is so fucking outdoorsey that god help them if they don't have a 4WD moon-wagon to get their hardcore hiking ass to the mountain.

^ Haha. I had to use a clothes hanger and a screwdriver to break into a Metro the other day. Girls locked their keys in.
