How does it hold up against strong wind during winter?

It's all in the way that you put it together. Put it in a sheltered spot, use lots of weight to keep it held down and make sure that you keep the tarp tight. We've had one for about 10 years or more and other than the zippers on the door it is still good. Make sure the one you buy has a good quality tarp or you will be replacing it in a couple of years.

If it does, nail them into the outside edge of 2x10's instead, then put sandbags on the 2x10's for weight.

i got the one from canadian tire a month ago and it seems to be holding so far. you might want to to fasten the legs to a 2x4 and then place sand bags on top. when we had the 100km/h wind storm last month, the whole thing moved like 15feet to the left. if my car was in there, it would have messed up my car big time. problem was solved with the 2X4s

hahaha i should see if i can find some pictures i had to take of my grandpa's cars, after a 90kph wind storm blew three of those plastic portable storage tents away. also not before scratching 3 collectors vehicles. these included a 25th anniversary corvette, 1964 ford meteor custom and finally a 1982 buick hurst .
