Where can I get something cheaper than steel braided lines (-4 AN fittings). The prices on the steel braided lines is crazy expensive, and I remember someone saying that there was an alternate material that could be used.

Honestly stainless steel lines aren't all they are said to be by others. They tend to leak sooner than normal lines and thus need to be replaced sooner usually. They are nice as they don't expand as much tho. I suggest going to either Greggs (great place that always knows what I'm talking about even when I don't) or any other local hose place (We have a great place called Hose Headquarters here in Red Deer, I like it not only for the discount I get but they also know thier shit). It all really depends what your lines will be running that changes things. I mainly buy breathing air line so it's a bit more expensive than a normal hydraulic or other type of line. HTH

Thanks for the responses. I don't really care about what it's made of, since I know that there are other materials that will also work fine.

If you know of any places in Calgary, it would be much appreciated.

I hear if you brace the master cylinder it helps improve brake response. Just a thought.

Funny enough Hose Headquarters is just north of Gregg's on 58th, and another just west of Gregg's on 61st.
