Chev. Cavalier Z-24:

Calgary, AB tel: 403-680-0706 (Bobby)

He's buying a new Mazdaspeed and needs about 4grand for downpayment so try not to lowball, he lives south of the city and attended U of C so alot of the kms are from driving highway and glenmore/crowchild. He didn't drive the car hard at all, call him!

hahaha, that's funny, sorry I forgot, actually I didn't know, it's an 89, it's in really good condition, no rust or anything! Like I said, a real looker!!!!

I can't say I love cavaliers, but he's kept it in good condition, it runs well and if I was going to buy a cavalier this would be the one I'd buy.

he's nuts. There is no way that car is worth anything near that. I might be interested but for about $3000 less

Then give him a call. Go for a test drive, take a look at the car, give him an offer and see what happens.

Honestly, when he said 4 grand I thought the same thing, I'm just trying to help my buddy sell his car for what he thinks is reasonable.

OBO is in there for a reason, it's a good car, if anyone wants a cav give him a call and go take a look at it and give him an offer that you think is fair, AFTER taking a look at the car. $1000 is definately a lowball offer, personally I think the car could go for about $3500 or so, he's done a lot of work on it to make it a good car and he treated it well.

if its got the quad4, its a pretty good engine, and the older cavaliers are WAY better than the new ones.

im sure i wont change anyones mind, but just reminding everyone that GM used to make 4 bangers that werent horrible.

IMO that's too much for it..My friend sold his 88 and it was like spotless for $1500 and it had 225*** km

The Cavalier Z24's came with a V6 (correct me if im wrong) 2.8L FI engine. Those thing's are pretty good too

Either that or the 3.1 V6. Don't remember what year the switchover was, around 89-90 though.

If it's an 89 it came with the 2.8 V6. I used to have a 90 Z24 and 1990 was the first year they had the 3.1L V6 in those.

Mine was in pretty good shape and it only had 108,000 KM on it when I sold it in May 2002 and all I got was $3500 for my car. When I went to Sunridge Nissan to look at a Spec V they were gonna give me $2500 tops for my car in a trade in. They aren't worth very much.

That model of Z-24 was produced from 1988-1990. The '88 and '89 came with the 2.8L V6, the 1990 came with the 3.1. In 1991, the car was succeeded by the next generation.
