I am looking for a well recognized homebuilding school in the west coast area. I live in Victoria now and am willing to travel as far as the interior of BC for a good school. Any suggestions?

Don't you just take a program in carpentry and do an apprenticeship etc?

What form of general contracting?

What's your background? have you been a carpenter in the home building industry for 5 years?

The program is a certification for people already in the home building industry. It sounds like you want to break into the industry.

Go to a technical school to get trained as a carpenter and then work your way up to a journeyman then provincial red seal etc.

That certification looks sorta bogus and would only apply to BC.
