that looks pretty bad, do you know if the frame is straight? the rebar is crumpled like a pop can thats why i ask/. judging from what needs to be replaced minus the grill and headlights.
bumper
rebar
hood
both fenders
rad and support
and i think i see the airbags out, any idea on how much that would cost to replace or whatever it is that they do with set off airbags?
anything else i might be missing that needs to be replaced? does it run?

Yeah pretty much all those things, the airbags have been deployed. I talked to the guys at tunedub and they said max of $2000 in parts. On the insurance inspection quote the mentioned nothing about straightening the frame. Mostly bodywork and the rad and rad support. If you are interested in the car shoot me an offer, I'm looking to sell ASAP and am entertaining offers.

who do you talk to, to get it re-registered and the airbags fixed?

That frame is pushed over a foot.

No biggie if you have rack, and know how to use it.

But that is no easy fix, and I doubt it would only cost 2K in parts. It does look like you could part it for the money your asking.

Good luck with the sale.

You can take it to any Government approved Inspection facility that can do Salvage inspections. There are quite a few in town. Once you have the inspection complete, you can register the car. Are bags can be replaced. Tunedub has most of the parts needed to fix the car here in Calgary.

When I say $2k in parts, I mean mostly used parts. The guys at Tunedub offered me a package deal for everything and they said max of $2000. Also, it is the rebar which is pushed over a foot, not necessarily the frame.

The airbags will cost about $400. I'm not sure if the frame is bent, the actual frame rails which the rebar is attached to look pretty straight still, but I don't know how to tell for sure.

airbags and body parts in general are dirt cheap for thease cars and very easy to find...you might have to replace the seat belt aswell though as they deploy aswell with the airbag.

but this does not matter anyways as the car will apperantly be parted
