gateway recovery discs are model specific unless you have an oem gateway version of windows. which in that case have fun trying to find all the drivers on their ever so great website

Yeah, I know. It took me a whole 5 minutes to find all of mine.

My install disk does a clean Windows install no junk.

If have a copy of windows xp pro but machine came with windows xp home. Could I use the windows xp pro to install operating system and use the windows xp home cdkey that came with the computer
