Spotted: Silver Porsche CGT (Shitty Pictures)

I spotted this guy and his super sexy girl a while ago and just found the pictures.

By far the NICEST exotic owner I have ever met, He knew everything about the car aswell as how to drive it properly. He tracks this car and sometimes takes it out for a casual drive.

His girl was checking the oil for him!

Super nice guy. Let me sit in it. It blew me away because I really didnt expect him to take me seriously. He watched me run almost full tilt towards him with the most stupid smile on my face. from ship and anchor. He greated me with the kind of reception that only a fellow enthusiast could. He poped the truck lid in prep for the envitable.

I was just surprised that someone who obviously has things to do took the time out to be so receptive.

It quite litterally made my month haha.

A few hours before I saw a f430, the owner looked at me and scoffed. He told me I wasnt ready to know about this car. He rolled his eyes and took off with a smirk on his face. I expected this encounter to be much the same. I was sorely mistaken.

If infact he was E36M3 Then thank you sir!!

That is impressive. Funny too because there is an owner of a silver CGT in Edmonton that is also really nice and often lets people sit in his car and even rev the engine. :thumbsup:

They do look cool. The CGT with the matte black is actually a wrap, something similar to 3M. Lets you take it off when you sell it and have a mint paint job, which is also really cool.

$20-25k USD for a clutch is a big reason, as are the 30k+ brakes.. they didn't pull any punches on the car, so it will expensive at some point to maintain. I wouldn't have any problems with that type of mileage, but "collectors" like the cars that have 1-3k max, so there is a huge premium on those particular cars.

The clutch is designed to last the lifetime of the car, but you can blow it out if you don't know how to use it.. it isn't like a normal clutch at all. The brakes will likely last forever too (the rotors, not the pads) unless you abuse/track it often, in which case it could get expensive.

As the miles get higher, the chances of things like a bent wheel, etc. become higher, which on this car gets expensive fast. I think the wheels are something like $10k a piece.

A high profile car like this one that has been in the Gumball and is modified might get a good price or it might be very hard to sell, it is hard to say.

You guys have no idea how nice he really is. I have bumped in to a a few exotic owners and none of them could even begin to fill his shoes.

Not only that but to let some random sit in your car, and take the time to explain things is unheard of. I wouldnt get that sort of response at a dealership if I walked in with a breifcase full of cash.
