Winter Gnomes stole my lugs

Every damn year I lose at least 4 lugs from my winter tires, well this year I lost all of them.

Does anyone have a suggestion on where to pick up lugs that doesn't involve a $120 experience?

I know I can hit Canadian Tire or something I was just hoping someone knew of a better place to go.

^ You can grab a shit load at Pick & Pull. Just keep your receipt as the threads are different sizes and pitch(es). Or you can bring one you already have to test on the hub bolts of various cars. That would save a lot of time and hunting around.



Provided these are not for your 135. If they are, there isn't much you can do, short of calling around to other local auto wreckers that may have a newer Bimmer that you can buy the used lug nuts (or in this case, lug "bolts") off of for a decent cost.

They are for my subby the 135 hit the garage a few weeks ago for hybernation. I don't mean ghetto cheap just decent like 80 bucks or so, so I can sleep at night instead of hunting gnomes.

^ yeah I know about the Ghetto cheap, but if you're losing lugs at that rate, it might be wise to stock up. :dunno:

I was shocked when CMS charged me $4.99 per lug 3 weeks ago.

I looked at my receipt when I bought lugs back in December 07 and they were $1.25 per lug.

Sounds like you bought a spline drive wheel bolt (VW, BMW fitment) for $ 4.95 each. We sell the spline drive tuner nuts for $ 1.95 ea (beyond.ca members get a break off this price also).
