Word, I've seen a guy in an old beige 5 series use the glenmore exit as his own personal passing lane in the past. flying in then back out only a few cars up

The Glenmore exit is the unofficial 3rd lane over the bridge. It doesn't hurt anyone so give it a try.

Since when were Camaro's used as cop cars?

150MPH , lol you could hear the tires squealing every time they made a lane change. :burnout:

in the states highway patrol uses them all the time, i've even seen fox body RCMP mustangs on the coquihalla in the 90s

I've driven an E30 M3 when i worked in automotive and i found the thing gutless definitely not 240hp, felt more like 160, maybe it was a tired engine but the only thing i liked about it was the handling :dunno: maybe the one i drove was a POS?

edit: i didnt hear the supercharged part, but still the stock E30 M3 didn't have the best engine , no?

I remember reading about this online... the kid actually got away. As you can see there is no footage of him being stopped/arrested. And don't they say it's a supercharged bimmer in the video??

If he got away, how do they know that he's 15?

Longer than the RCMP in Saskatchewan have been using them... and we've had them since 2004 if not earlier.

This one is from BC. They use them on the Coquihala as well.

How wasn't there video of him being arrested. The cop that caught up with the kid when he broke down has a dash cam as well. Did the cam just stop working at the time of apprehension?

This is from a while ago, if you look closely at the footage where they caught the kid at 3:46, it's a slow mo version of the same footage at 2:10. Which is probably why people think the kid got away.

It's not supercharged, those guys call anything they have a hard time catching "supercharged", or turbocharged, etc.

Not signaling?

I thought out of all the things, it was pretty funny for him to mention this...

It's like coming to the scene of an accident and pointing out that it's against regs to have a broken tail light...

I've never understood these chases though. Unless the guy in the car is a raving lunatic ready to commit mass murder, by chasing him, aren't you just encouraging him to drive even more recklessly and endanger the public? At what cost? Just to retrieve a stolen car? It usually ends up a wreck anyways.

I've seen clips where a guy is randomly pulled over, takes off from the cop, and a full blown pursuit evolves which endangers both the public and the officers and the police don't even know what the guy has done.

Is it just the cowboy attitude of American cops?

Werd he probably got away, these clips are edited together by some company to make an exciting marketable video.

They take police footage which is either cheap or free, and make videos where the cops always win. It reinforces the dominance of police and keeps people from doing shit like this for fear of getting caught. They also make a shitload of cash selling them. Everybody wins...

Haha you're right, the brake lights give it away and they cut it just before the cop car swerves around him...

So he lost his license before he even got one? interesting.
I take back what ever I said about 16 year olds, shouldn't be allowed to drive until they're 18. That kid got some skills.

Crazy, that's a completely false ending.

I didn't catch that the first time through...I'm just too gullible, when it comes to BMW's always breaking down I always believe! :P

Stock crank horsepower on an E30 M3 is a little over 190 hp. 240hp is very easily achieved with that engine without forced induction.
