If anyone knows a little bit or a lot about Video Cards, I was wondering if you could help me.

I just bought an ATI Radeon 7500 256DDR Dual View whatever, whatever.

Anyway, I uninstalled my Nvidia drivers, shut down the computer. I then put in the ATI card and started it up.

All I get from this is chopped up little words and a bunch of ascii text. It does this constantly and I can't see anything. I would then install the drivers for the ATI but I can't see anything to install it.

Do I install the drivers first then put in the card or what? :dunno:

I went into safe mode (o/s is winxp)

I clicked on the display properties, and then display, then adapter but I can't change anything. I don't see anywhere you can change it to SVGA. Blargh this is pissing me off. haha
