Hey all, just thought I'd update you all on my pursuit for film and TV..

I booked a role on the new CBC tv series Wild Roses that airs Jan 9th. It's about an Oil family in Calgary and I play Graham, one of the lead's oldest friends for one episode so far. I will let you all know when it will air etc as soon as I find out. My shoot date is Dec 18th and it's not a huge role but I have my own freaking trailer!!! :D

Thanks for the encouragement, fellas and I'll post more info when I have it. I've worked HARD at this for the last couple of years and that had to be the slowest 2 years in film/tv for canada for a long time so i'm pumped about that!

Congrats Multi Grain!

They filmed a portion of that on 17th a couple months ago. They used Mercury and Bungalow (do it do it) There were hot chicks in little skirts and dresses everywhere.

You will notice a spot where they are filming in the Alley behind Bungalow. There is a girl driving an old mint cond. Duster (iirc) where she has to do some reversing. While the actual owner of the car watched behind the scene, she scraped the whole side of it down a Cadillac. We watched from the window and had a good laugh!

I know. The show format has a new director for every 2 episodes and I was talking to mine, Sudz Sutherland about that exact same thing. He was saying the show has to have local consultants from calgary. They have them, it's just how many of the producers will listen to them etc....
