So my buddy is trying to get rid of his multi-excersize weight machine.

He wants to just give it to me, but I offered to buy it for a couple hundred bucks since it cost him a lot. No biggie...
I don't always have time to hit the gym, and when I'm out of school I virtually stop going, so I figure I'd get something like this to train in the off season. I know its not nearly as good as freeweights (Which I also have), but having a big excersize machine facing my TV will make me far more inclined to actually use it.
Question is: Do machines like this (when used in conjunction with freeweights) actually work? Ie. will I make any noticeable gains if I use this thing?
