Looking for a lounge or something like to take the Mrs. out to tonight. Roadhouse is just too young/low-class.

BLVD lounge just off 17th sw is not to bad, and its not that ghetto.

another good place with a decent atmosphere is vicious circle off of 10th SW (i think)

both nice!

P.S. because i know someone has to ask it... pics of the Mrs.???

Went to Kilt and Caber last night...NOt a lounge but as far as pubs go it was pretty packed and beer prices were spot on since they had imported beer on special bottled or draft. 29$ for 6 pints was definitely a decent price compared to alot of places.

Salsa night at Mile One Urban Tavern every Thursday. It is very chill, ages range from 22-50. There is a beginner salsa dance class that happens at 9:30pm, I usually go a little bit earlier to have dinner. The food there is alright 6/10. The music is really different but good, the crowd is very friendly and mature. Lots of crazy ass dancer to watch too. Everyone is dress up but yet very relax. Highly recommend.

A salsa class? Like, they teach you how to salsa?

Yeah. They teach you the basics, not really a class though. It's a fun night. I went there last week and the place is packed. There are beginners and pros that go there and it's good times.

For a club night I love HiFi for Thursdays.

So you pretty much get on the floor and they show you some basic stuff for a few minutes before letting you run wild?
