Oh he's playin, just with really good synth samples so the repeats look fake they are just preprogrammed to reverb.

I honestly think he will produce beats with timbaland or something for famous artists/musicians, not the youtube fame hahaha.

I wonder if he really is that nerdy or if its his gimmick? Regardless, he is mad talented we need more producers like this instead of all these simple, non funky, bs beats...

There was big e-controversy over that, though it was more about whether or not he was autistic or a savant, I don't think there was ever any conclusion but he seems like the kind of guy that wouldn't BS. I think that's who he really is.

He's working with an undisclosed band right now (Rumor is Linkin Park) and there have been a few songwriters who've expressed interest. You're absolutely right, this guy is going big.

Jenkees has been on youtube for well over a year now. I heard about him maybe 13 months back, been following him ever since.

He's absolute talent and he isn't faking his slight disorder. Buy his shit! Support him. He also has a single out from his new album coming soon.

Great music, but I think maybe he puts on a character just to stand out to be noticed?

Theres def sumtin not quite right.. But it does say this:

"
Thanks to all of my friends and subscribers. I'm very thankful for your viewership!! Before you ask, I'm a perfectly normal and healthy guy, just a little geeky and different - but that's a good thing, not a bad thing. My hope is that you are entertained and at the same time, inspired to make music. Anyone can have fun with music."

Also, his songs kinda have an old NES sound to them.. The back ground music from old nintendo games.

I have no interest in this type of music, but fuck, some of these tunes were really good. My favourite was stay crunchy and the guitar sound one. Will check out more today, thanks for sharing.

I purchased his last CD via digital download last year and I loved it.
I sent him an email complimenting him on his talent and sound, and he actually replied. I really can't wait for his next release.

This is the first time I've heard of Ronald Jenkees, but I really like him. Someone posted up a link to David Sides doing a medley of Kanye's Graduation a few years back and I've been keeping tabs on him since. It's not original, but it's still really good.

While it sounds cool there's nothing technically difficult about the piano playing. It certainly isn't hard at all.

Supa Dexta

Link to your album^?

... Or atleast a youtube clip of some playing?

Mibz

If technicality and difficulty were required to make good music then Green Day wouldn't be one of the most popular bands of our generation.

You guys should be thanking Mibz for bumping this

The second album has been a long time coming. I remember I was checking out his new album a couple nights ago, I will buy it tonight for sure!

I can picture in my head the kind of cruising video I can make with his songs. Too bad I don't have any equipment.

What the piano?

I don't have one at my place anymore. It's at my parents in Calgary. I did my Grade 8 RCM 7 years ago when I was 18, but have been off the keys for awhile now. I was on the Alberta Honour Band for 2 years, playing 2nd and Lead Trombone. So I consider myself a decent musician. I'd love to get some stuff up on YouTube, but like I said, no piano.

Maybe next time I'm down in Cowtown, I'll bust out the video camera.

Very true. Their music is pretty simple to play.

i think it would sound and look totally bad ass if someone could do that on a guitar

EDIT: Nevermind....
