Asking 13 K for a 20 year old JDM car that I'm willing to bet money does not legitimately have under 100K kms.

now ur just stupid, why wouldnt it have under 100k? do u realise that in japan people hardly drive? its so packed there. 13k is a pretty fair price for a gtr i think. considering it costed about 10-11 shipped, other stuff had to be done to get oop done.

I could be wrong about the kms, I dont know how it is over there.

That said, I find it very hard to believe no odometer tampering goes on with imported JDM cars as every car that is put up for sale by a importer here always has ridicously low kms for the year. For example this car, if the kms are legit averages what around ~5000 kms/year? Even if you dont drive much thats extremely low.

You also have a skyline for sale yourself so its not like your going to fuel a discussion about the legitimacy of jdm car kms

i have nothing to hide, i posted all the info, the truth is though that japanese cars do HAVE low kms. if importers tamper with them then i dont know, however in japan, people are very honest. they dont lie like people do over here.

There are places like Yahoo Japan auctions where you can see ads for used cars aimed at the domestic market. You will see that the mileages are generally much lower. So at the worst, they are screwing their fellow Japanese as much as they are screwing us. Doesn't mean it's a good thing, since most of those KMs will be city KMs instead of highway KMs, and highway KMs are better for the engine, but they are generally lower. It's not really suprising if you think about the fact that it just isn't such a big place, public transit is so much better (we don't have a 300km/hr train to Edmonton, do we?), and that gas costs 3x what it costs here.

Since I own property (jointly, as you cannot legally own property as a foreigner) in Yokohama, I will comment here as it is needed from some experience.

Those who can not afford a vehicle, gasoline, registration and the $1000/month parking spot do not drive much, HOWEVER those who own cars make VERY good use of them, so saying that since it is a small country, nobody drives is B.S. Don't use that line, it doesn't fly.

THAT being said, I do agree that the vast majority of Japanese are very honest and now _-I-_ am saying it... they lie less than North Americans. Don't believe me? Come and visit me in Yokohama. Feel free to contest what I have posted, however if you have NOT LIVED in a location, please don't bother posting your little comments here. Let the seller sell his car. If it was in an accident, then the OP is a little bitch, if not, then it's still a really nice car.

I asked nicely and gave the seller a chance to be honest..but i guess he chose not too. Sorry for the huge clutter again. Sorath i wouldnt go as far assaying north americans lie more then japs do..if this seller is japanese (just a guess because they import them) well turns out he's lieing about the accident..proves you wrong does it not?
