if i take over a lease, does the dealership do any detailing to the car or any inspection before i get it?

Depends on the dealer/company. When I picked up my lease they didn't do any cleaning for me but there were some trade offs and they do not have a local dealership.

If it's a larger dealer, there is a good chance they will detail it for you to keep you as a customer.

Why are you asking here and not just calling them to ask?

At my work, when we get lease returns/trade ins etc, we do a full interior shampoo with exterior wash followed by a power polish wax job, when it gets sold, it just gets a re-vaccumed and exterior wash with some nice tire shine...so ...:dunno:

Inspections or UVI would of been done the day or that following week they recieved the lease back return, they wouldn't have put the car into stock before that was done

If they are a new car dealership, then yes, your car should be detailed before delivery..
I don't know of a single new car dealership that doesn't.
