I was wondering what is would take to get a Lotus Omega in Canada? is it legal? how much do they run in CAD these days? cause i cant say iv ever seen one or heard of anyone importing one.

Talk to an importing company and they may be able to track one down.

i'd hate to own that car in Calgary if something went wrong with it. Would probably be cheaper to fix a Lambo

Really cool car! from the stats it looks like it would eat up E34 M5's and E500's. Since its based on a Vauxhall Carlton it probably wouldn't be too too bad to maintain or repair, at least better than the comparable bimmer or benz.

Try out some import houses, they might be able to get it from the UK for you under the Over 15 year old rule.

it had the corvette 6spd tranny? not sure what gen vette but the early 90s

I was also under the impression it was called the Lotus Carlton, but Wiki says that it was the Lotus Omega in mainland Europe, so just badge engineering.

or just look in Japan ... Japanese have been know for importing rare cars from europe to Japan in the early and late 90s. Still thats a very rare car to find
