As some of you may know i posted here a while back about getting a bunch of water spilt on my dell. You helped me alot and after doing some things. I try and turn it on and the lights come on but after a second it shuts back off. Im hoping it just fried the battery. My question would be what would be the best place to take my dell to get it repaired. Preferrably in the NW.
Thx

to verify whether or not it's just the battery... remove the battery and try to turn it on with the battery out (but plugged in, obviously), but I'm guessing it is NOT the battery.

Same thing happened to me last week... Spilled some hot coffee on my laptop.

I did buy the complete care warranty, but they said that they're gonna try to fix it before they replace it.

Anyone use the complete care warranty at Dell with a liquid damaged laptop? If they replace it what do they replace it with? My laptop is about 3 years old
