its really hard to bring myself to selling my Evo but here goes anyway. i brought it up from sunny California myself fairly stock at 14k miles. its been very well taken care of all its life and hasn't even seen rain before i picked it up. in case you don't know, there are less than 400 IX RSs imported to the Americas. the RS is the race base version of the already edgy Evo IX. it has no power windows, locks, cruise control, ABS, not even a stereo. it weighed 3,124lbs with a full tank of gas at the truck weigh station, as compared to a 06-07 STI's 3,400lbs+.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RS
- 24k miles
- fully serviced by Road Race Engineering (they vouched for it when i bought it)

powertrain:
- K&N drop in
- LICP, ported o2 housing, RRE turboback
- Cosworth 272s
- Mellon tuned - i had RRE tune it when i picked it up but i'm having Mellon retune it to our elevation and gas. once its done it'll see 330-340awhp on 91 pump on a dynopack. the stock block will handle up to 500awhp.
- ACT stg 2 clutch + street flywheel
- Eneos 0w40 only

footwork:
- Megan Racing Track series coilovers - at first i thought these were going straight to the dumpster because i've ridden in cars with Megans and they are garbage but in all honesty, these feel very nice (as they are actually made by BC racing), and i'd rate them on par if not better than all the coilovers i've had with my ITR. and i've had top end stuff like Spoon N1s, Ohlins PCVs, Quantum RSs, Mugen Lowdowns etc.

- RRE rearsway 25mm bar
- RRE roll center kit F/R
- RRE anti bumper steer kit F/R
- 17x8.5 Advan RGs - these are the infamous RGs thats been around like the neighbourhood whore. they're chipped and scratched but perfectly straight with no bends
- Dunlop Starspecs with 85% tread 245/40R17
- Performance Friction 97 pads (they are wearing low)
- RRE stainless lines

interior:
- very clean interior, never smoked in and not greasy
- Eclipse CD3200
- Pioneer 4 way (fronts), Pioneer 3 way (rears)

exterior
- Blacktop Aero CF lip
- OEM Mitsubishi window visors
- 3M protection on the entire front end (entire hood, fenders etc.) by Garage Works
- 7W tint by Garage Works
- Alumina 6000k HID kit
- OEM Evo 7 tails
- vortex generators
- genuine OEM Mitsu JDM rear bumper
- ALL ORIGINAL PAINT

anybody who's seen my car can vouch that its very capable in all weather and all conditions (street or track). beyond that, its tastefully modded all around and exceptionally clean inside and out.

i am fairly firm on $35,000. if you don't like my price, all you have to do is click BACK. i'd like to see anybody try to import one now that our dollar has gone down the toilet.

there will be absolutely no test pilots unless i deem you serious enough. please don't waste my time as I'm in no rush to sell it. the car is located in Edmonton

What is the power difference B/W this car and a new 2009....I was looking for a new or used Evo. I am interested but is 35 high for a car that is only 41 new?

Any interior pics? Also are you interested in trading for a 01 ITR+cash?

It's an RS. RS base price is US$28,999.

I have this magazine from a few years back, it says its $26,999 base.

question: In the first picture the fender looks to be discolored then the rest of the body. Has the car been in a crash? interested.

the fender is probably a different color because of the 3m.

The whole fender is 3M'd.

I believe the whole front bumper, hood, headlights and fenders were 3M'd shortly after the car was brought up from the US.

The job was done by a highly reputable shop. There is a lot of value in this car other than all the performance goodies.

that would be incorrect...there used to be a mini around town that the entire car was done with 3m...

Was the interior Saran wrapped by any chance too?

I think the point here is anything can be 3M'd if you really want to.

Back on topic...

Good luck with your sale
