budgetgadgets.com Anyone?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ordered from budgetgagets.com? It looks like another DX type of deal, some of the prices are a bit better than DX. I am going to pick up some iPod cases from them, but was wondering if anyone had any good or bad experiences with them. I am kind of reluctant to order somethings from DX because of all the recent fakes (LOL sometimes they are fakes of fakes) and quality issues.

I was thinking about it last night because they have some cheap LiPo batteries but the the thing that held me back is Paypal only payment.

as for ipod cases, how on earth are you gunna tell if it's a fake of a fake.

either way. when you order off a site like that you shouldn't expect it to be genuine. especially for the deal you're getting

some of the items seem to be cheaper than DX but some others seem to be much more. depends on what you're looking for i guess.

Not quite an iPod case but things like the R4. It wasn't dx's fault but their supplier sent them defective fake units...I mean it it worked it would be fine but since they don't work it isn't so okay. The iPod case and some other junk is being shipped I will let you guys know how it goes. I love websites like this because sometimes you want things but don't care about the brand name and such you really just need somethin that works. DealExtreme is pretty good but I am goig to branch out and see what other good sites are out there. I really like monoprice for cables but sometimes their shipping is expensive for small things like a camera battery.

I order tons of stuff from China and Taiwan off ebay, if anything, they have cheaper and faster shipping than US sellers.

The only reason I know about this site is because I saw their banner at the top of my window one day. I am not overly concerned about them stealing my info or anything. I just pay through paypal. LOL I only started ordering from China recently, but now I am addicted. I have 4 orders on the way from dx. I find that I am ordering stuff I really don't need because of the super cheap prices and free shipping. The quality of everything feels okay, but not as nice as something you might find at futureshop. On the same token sometimes it doesn't matter, I ordered a 4M printer cable and it does the job just fine, at under $1/m I think it is a steal. I have purchased simalar cables from Alberta cable company for 5x the price, so I feel like all the other random crap I order is free...

I would also like to know if anyone knows of anymore websites like this.

the stuff is dirt cheap
but don't expect to be getting it for at least 2 weeks

i've gotten addicted to buying random crap that i want but don't really need. it's a bad habit. basically to me DX is like a dollar store where i feel i'm spending nothing

It will not arrive in 5 days. Expect 2 weeks or so to arrive.

this is probably one of the biggest if not the biggest manufactuing pprovinces in china. that's why all this shit is so cheap.

I am planning on making an order. I actually had gone through the whole site and filled my shopping cart but the site went offline with database errors and now I have to start over :(

It's super cheap knock-off stuff, so even if half the things I get work that's all I expect :rofl: Some stuff though, like xbox/ps3 cables and ipod adapters cost like $5 - $10, whereas MS and apple want to charge you like $70 for the same thing. :banghead:

I'll post some reviews afterwards.
