Hey, any of you calgary people know of a place where I can get a Pioneer XM radio tuner? Futureshop sold there last one in Alberta. Heres the part:

Any ideas? Visions don't have any online but I'll be in the city this weekend for local buy.

99% of places have to order this piece in, but can usually get it within a few days. Call a shop ahead of time and they'll order one up for you.

Know and shops off hand that are good? I've never bought any car audio in Calgary before.

Sorry man, I can help you out with Edmonton but not Calgary. I'd maybe try Visions.

Anybody that carries Pioneer's "Elite" line should be able to get it. The Elite stuff isn't generally sold in many big box stores.

I was actually looking for this exact same XM radio tuner. After looking around calgary I gave up and went on ebay. Got a manufacture referb for $70 shipped express including brokerage fees and taxes. The best part is that the unit had an existing subscription. Used for a month or so and its still going good.

I was thinking of doing that, so you can use an American tuner in Canada?

So far I haven't had any problems with the tuner. I don't think it would matter which tuner you use really...XM in offered throughout the US and Canada...as long as you can get the signal your fine.
