The time has come to sell my baby. Decided to get back into a car. This is a Canadian vehicle, bought new at a dealership here in Calgary.

Its a 2006 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. Rare truck, even more rare in this color (Radiant Red) I've only seen one other red one in the city. The other colors are Speedway Blue, and Black Sand Pearl. I've taken good care of her.

Stock features over the regular Tacomas include factory Bilstien shocks, lowered ride height (1 inch lower than a regular 2WD Tacoma), LSD, the 14 piece X-Runner body kit, rear X brace (which the X-Runner was named after), stiffened suspension/handling (.92G's on the skidpad stock which is even with a 350Z), paint matched badging, close ratio 6 speed manual transmission RWD with LSD, and special X-Runner specific wheel 18" wheels with low profile sticky tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 255/45/18).

Regular oil changes and maintenance have been done. Transmission was replaced under warranty by Toyota last year due to second gear grinding which was a common problem with these trucks that has been resolved. Also had the battery changed 2 weeks ago under warranty since it was not holding a charge. Changing the spark plugs, oil, and brake pads this weekend.

Extras:
The car is lowered another 1.75" in the front with a C2C lowering kit ($75). The rear is lowered 2" on BellTech lowering blocks ($45). Also included is the OEM fibreglass hard tonneau cover with lock ($1200). The stock wheels are powdercoated gold with a red stripe on them (which is removable if you so choose, it is just red pinstriping) wrapped with Kumho KW19 winter tires (235/50/18) that were bought and mounted 2 months ago. The stock summer tires will also be included. The X-brace has been painted yellow, and also front Toyota emblem and hood scoop insert have been painted flat black to give the truck a more aggressive look. A set of Toyota window visors ($75) were also added, as was an aFe Cold Air Box Intake system ($300). The stock chrome headlights were swapped out for a set of black housing headlights ($250) to give the truck a more aggressive look and match the black grille. The headlights and taillights also have a smoked film on them to protect them and to give them a slightly smoked look. The foglights are filmed yellow. All films on the lights are easily removable. Stock intake, suspension parts, and headlights will also be given to the new buyer.

Cons:
The truck needs a new windshield soon, as it is cracked (not in the drivers line of sight), and there are a few dents on the passenger door from some person getting shoved into the truck that can be taken care of with a paintless dent repair. Also, there are the usual minor chips that have been touched up as best as I could.

I'm asking $26000 OBO, and this comes with everything. I am taking a hit on this to pay off the loan, and get into a different vehicle. No reasonable offer will be refused. ***New Price*** $24000

To add, this color was discontinued for the X-Runner after 08, and the X-Runner production itself has stopped as of last month.

Price reduced to $22000 OBO!!! Make me an offer!

What's the monthly payments for the loan?

CivicDXR

I made some bad choices, and bought this truck at a very high price, so I am sitting at $550 a month. I'm sure you can get a loan if you need it for way lower a month...

Wow that's actually pretty low, I'd love to have that payment instead of what I'm paying.

Let me talk to a buddy of mine who's looking for a Tacoma and i'll pm you any details.

Hey man, great looking truck. I've seen you around a lot and met you one time at Race City (I borrowed a pen so I could sign up for SS.. I was the guy on the bike if you remember..)

Anyway, I`m working hard to convince a friend he needs your truck, haha.. I`ll keep you posted.

BUMP!

My next vehicle will be available to me at the end of this week. I don't want to let her go, but can't afford to keep her as well.

Make me a decent offer!

I never really had any traction issues with the winter tires on. During the winter, I would either keep either sandbags, or 2 of my summer tires in the truck bed, and that would be enough weight to load up the rear, but last year, I drove it in the winter without anything in the back, and it was fine.

As with any other vehicle in the winter, if you don't do anything stupid, you will not have any problems.
