Fighting speeding ticket..

i've read through all the threads using the search button.

and i still have a question.

i got a 60 in a 50 zone. ticket is 78 dollars..

how many demerits do i lose? how do i fight it?
if i do call points, what will they do for me? i just want to do whatever it takes to get rid of the demerits if any..i don't want my insurance going up. by the way this is my first ticket in my 1 1/2 years of driving.

talk to weapon_R, he can get it changed to a registered owner ticketso no demrits (beyond.ca ticket fighting:D)

If you have a clean record, I would definately talk to the Crown, he will probably give you a RO registered owner ticket. You pay the fine, no demerits and no $$$ to Pointts or whatnots. Doesn't hurt to try and the only thing you waste is the time to wait to speak to the Crown. Worked for me.

yeah this is my first ticket. for speeding.
other than my first parking ticket back last year.

what do i say when i speak to him?
