how to set up a betting pool

as most of you know i have a baby on the way, and many people are asking me if We are setting up a baby pool.

just wondering if anyone has any experience with this, and how it is done?

How it was done at my office was there's a set amount of money per guess. No one can bet on the day that the baby is expected. If the baby is actually born on the expected date, baby takes all.

On the other dates, you can split it up into hours and only one bet per slot.

The pool is split 50/50 with the baby and the person who wins except when the baby is born on the expected date.
