Hey anyone dealt with these guys before? Some of their cars seem too good to be true

That's because they are.

My friend just tried dealing with them. Most of them have "reserve prices" that they don't explicitly mention in the ads.

He tried bidding on a truck, only to be informed that they wouldn't accept anything lower than the reserve price (which was about the same as buying private, except no added benefit of inspections etc).

They are an oulet for the public to buy repos before they go to auction, the bank has a reserve price in mind that is allmost always flexible,i would not be suprised though if alot of thetrucks they sell are from dealerships trying different ways to sell stock.I am well educated in the industry and have seen a few good deals there.

The cars on the site actually have prices listed. Like the 2005 Saab 9-3's going for $14000 is a pretty good deal isnt it? And the 2006 Lexus IS250 AWD for under $27000?

The prices seem slightly better than private sale.

I've been looking at Repo.Com for the last couple weeks. The prices do seem good, however the KM's are almost always high. If the price is too good to be true, look closer at the pictures and usually you'll notice that the thing is beat to death. If you sign up to their website, you can get more information on the ads (kms, pics, etc). There are deals to be had, but you really have to be careful.

So would this reserve price be higher than the price posted on there webpage? Some prices are awesome... 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLT Extended Cab 4x4, 6.0 liter for 16K???

i don't think that reserve price is accurate. i think the posted price is the price of the vehicle. that gs300 has 117k km on it. so that explains the price.
