F.S. Type R heads

Well learned a lesson can't belive every single thing you read on the net and after I got some help from a member 89ls I figered out whats goign on .

SO I got 2 B16A SIR II heads that i am not going to use now that i am building a 240sx track car so might as well put them up for sale instead of just collect dust lol
so this is what i got

1. stock head that has Valve train .

needs cam gears , Vtec solenoid , cam cover , manifolds and such

2. is a bare metal head that is extrude honed

Might be hard to tell in my crappy pics haha but the ports on this head are FAR smoother then the ones on the stock head . and the inside of the ports are a bit bigger then the stock ports .

Stock head - with the valve train and cams I am going to be asking 250

how it is now no valve train for 200BO


I live in edmonton so shipping, pick up, or delivery can be worked out :)

Any way to proove these aren't just regular b16a heads?

type r heads have distinguising marks on the camshafts as well as the valvesprings. pics of these possibly?

I will have to look into that more . from what i was told was PR3-4's are type R and PR3-3 is B16 But I will deff find out more the marks you talk about .will try and get more pics when i am back in town from up north later on this week

Those cams aren't the same. look at the rings portruding on the larger ring. Yours doesn't have them.

Compare your picture to the one you posted and this one. Thats a 92-00 sirII b16a head unfortunatly.

Oh, and all you would be loking for is a bit of greenish yellow paint residue on the valvesprings.
