ok right now my dad is going to get me a newer car....the price limit is 7K USD (im guessing) and probably newer than 90, and CANNOT be listed as a "sports car"
im having problems thinking of what i should get, right now im thinking of an AE86, Sentra, or a 240SX.
240 SX is considered a sports car
get a Maxima or Accord

well then the AE86 would also be out of your requirements then seeing that it was made in the 80s.
why not one of the early 90 SERs?

the old SE-Rs were sports coupes i think.... not too sure.
we don't have many (or any??) of them in Calgary. I've only seen one i think and i don't quite remember.
they're FWD and have the SR20DE motor.
mind you, this particular sr20 is nothing to be compared to the likes of the sr20 in the silvias....

What's your point? You already said it can't be a sports car. And a 240 is classified as a sports car. So is an SE-R.

You couldn't get the older Sentra SE-Rs in Canada AFAIK. That being said the normal older sentras are fun enough cars, handle exceptionally well though they could use more power (but what couldn't? :D). Try looking at an older Escort GT. Same attributes as the sentra, but a bit more fun factor and available dirt dirt cheap. An early '90s Subaru Legacy turbo could be had inside your price range. Not the most fun car on the block, but good potential mods wise.
In canada you can find SE-R's from 96-99 (I think those are the years). But the guys not in canada so doesn't matter. The dude even lists his price range in USD.

1. 325i (possibly the diesel) E30
2.AE86
3.old mini.
the mini and 325 arent sports car, and are both faster than hondas.
