+1 for OEM fluid.
The one that is replaced frequently. I used OEM Honda MTF and it works well.
Refer to it as Manual Transmission Fluid. Gear Oil usually suggests the differential fluid.

i had updated Honda MTF and it worked better than what came in the car
then i switched to GM synchromesh FM and it's working well too (my 2nd grinds on cold days)
the honda stuff is cheap, about $5 a bottle, GM synchromesh (no fm) is $7, and FM is $15

Swapped over from OEM MTF to Amsoil and very happy with the results. For my diff, I have been using Mobil1.

Look it up.
I'd say the best is redline as well.
That being said, I use OEM Honda in my transmissions. Also, GQ is right. I think i paid between 9 and 10 for the bottles.

You can buy Synchromesh from any GM dealer right?
I called Parts Source and the guy told me they didn't have any, not even the rebranded AC Delco stuff.
