Just wondering if there is an easy way to remove tires from steelies? Or does it need to be taken to a shop to remove?

Thanks.

shop, you'll need a tire machine to do that.

When I was a cheap ass teenager I tried for the better part of 4 hours to remove tires from rims with nothing more than an olfa knife and tin snips.

It was the epitome of fail.

A crowbar a flat tire and another piece of strong steel. Stand on the tire pull an edge out of the rim with the crow bar not the curved end. Use the other piece of steel to hold it out of the rim. And go all the way around.

We learned on the farm to do this with 2 crow bars and some soap, the real hard part is breaking the tire bead.Just take them to a shop and save some agony.:)

looks like taking it to a shop would be a easier thing to do. The problem is the my bore size is just 1 mm smaller than the hub, so i got to get another set of steelies.
