More info on this requested. Extra HDD bays open? Does anyone sell an AGP graphics card with HDMI outputs?
I'm looking to build a budget HD movie player.

Well anything that has DVI can do HDMI with a DVI-HDMI cable.

As for getting audio over HDMI, NVidia has a couple of AGP cards in their HD2x00 and HD3x00 series. But it won't be any better than spdif out.

Plus if the plan is to buy a blu-ray drive, AGP cannot provide an end-to-end HDCP stream so it won't work, have to go pci-e for that.

Oh, and the #3 case has 4 5.25 external bays, 2 3.5 external bays, and 4 3.5 internal drive bays.
