Looks like a miniature 6.
Not sure if I'm a fan yet.

It looks better in brochures, but from this view, I this its NASTY:

The design will take some time to grow on me. I'm on the fence on this one. It does seem like it is a mini 6 series. Esspecially with those tail lights.

I am sure once i see one in person i will like it a lot more. It would look a lot better with nicer wheels.

Interior is nice. Does it come with smg???

Although the styling is something I'll need to get used to. I like the changes. Including the folding hardtop and the interior.

Not bad, not bad at all.

Right now I give it a :thumbsup: but not sure if :hitit: yet.

Have to see more pics, on the road, different shots and in person to make decision.

like another poster said, the overall car is quite feminine looking. im undecided about the front, but the back is really really nice and those dual pipes go just fine with the look of the car. that interior is outrageously hot.

imo, it's better than the current design

The lines, they are so nice :drool:
Will there be a coupe though since it is a hard-top?
I will wait for the m version I suppose.

The direct side profile shot hurt my head...
Body lines seem strange.
Interior is quite nice though

Power Folding hard top and everything.

I wonder what the M version will be like.

the grills too. The current Z4 doesn't really look like any other Bimmer, the new one takes styling hues from the higher end sedan line up, almost entirely. Love the interior, but the styling is pretty undefined in its own marque.
:dunno:

I'd still sport one though. I'd like to see how they refined it, and what options it can come with. :)

Oh man, it looks really good in those pictures. The M version should be even hotter! I would totally consider hitting that up as a future SLK replacement. Oh yeah. :hitit: :hitit: :hitit:

as usual, coupes (or top up) looks WAY better than top down.
Convertibles' lines just don't look good imo.

I've always hated the appearance of the Z4, but this model I like. The back end looks like the 650i which looks great! I have the hard top convertible on my 2008 328i and it's pretty slick. Glad to see they incorporated it into the Z4 finally. Now they just need to do the same with the 650i then I'll trade up.

Damn the lines on Z4's are so crazy, so many concavities in the mix with sharp and smooth lines. Alot is going but I like what they did to it. Its nice, but more than anything it's pretty innovative, I don't know of any car that has lines like that. Fucking Bangle.

I love this new Z4! It is much more integrated with the rest of the BMW line up, and I'm especially loving the new design style.

Rims + springs is all it needs!

Don't mind it, but it doesn't look that much better than the current model. Interior is fairly nice, and you can't argue with 0-60 in 5 seconds.

I'm a big fan. Any word on the MSRP?

blinkme_210

German pricing:

* BMW Z4 sDrive 23i (204 bhp) = 35,900 - euros - 48,071 USD
* BMW Z4 sDrive 30i (258 bhp) = 42,900 - euros - 57,445 USD
* BMW Z4 sDrive 35i (306 bhp) = 47,450 - euros - 63,537 USD

Compared to previous Z4 German pricing again:

* BMW E85 Z4 2.0i (150HP) = €29,900 - euros - 40,037 USD
* BMW E85 Z4 2.5i (177HP) = €32,900 - euros - 44,054 USD
* BMW E85 Z4 2.5si (218HP) = €35,900 - euros - 48,071 USD
* BMW E85 Z4 3.0si (265HP) = €42,250 - euros - 56,574 USD

About a 12% price increase to get into the top Z4.

I fired up the Kraftwork on my iTunes and well it does look rather nice. Alright, it was actually my Peter Gabriel CD "Peter Gabriel - Ein Deutches Album" recorded entirely in German but the point goes on.

Interior sweet......shame about the cock exterior. And by cock I mean the British meaning of the word, like the bird....well Google it.

About a 12% price increase to get into the top Z4.

I don't know if you can convert to US directly like that.

3.0si is only starting at $42.7K USD right now.

If it's going to be 12% more on the top end, that means reasonably, 35i should start at $47.8K USD.

And just like the current offering, I doubt they will offer 23i in North America, just like we don't have 2.0i and 2.5i.

Noy hot but not the ugliest ever.

Finally they have another car in the lineup that shares the styling of the 6 series.

I like it. Not nearly as snore inducing as the rest of the BMW line that rivals Toyota for lack of excitement.
