I'm looking for new lighting for the garage. Right now it's just 2 60 watt incandescent bulbs. Can't see crap :thumbsdow I'm looking for a permanent lighting solution so I don't have to pull out my work lights whenever I do work on my car.

http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524443306180&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396672801&bmUID=1229231632484&deptid=1408474396672676&ctgrid=1408474396672688&subctgrid=1408474396672801

I'm thinking of putting 2-4 of these on the garage ceiling, but my ceiling is quite high... 10-12 feet depending on the area. Any solutions?

Go to princess auto and get a few of those halogen lights, they make lots of heat and light shit up pretty good, and im sure YOU can get them for cheap ;)

We've got 5 sets of those long flourescent lights. A total of 10 bulbs and that works perfectly.

I looked at them, but I rather have something that won't take up floor space. Due to the design of the house, there is a small "deck" in the garage and stairs that lead down from the house door. With 2 cars in there, it's a pretty tight squeeze getting around. Plus I have no room left to pack it up after I'm done using it. There is a deep freezer in there too. Under the deck is my welding cart and tool chest, shop vac, air compressor. And I'm getting a cherry picker as well, and I don't even know where that is going to go. Plus there's going to be a engine, on a engine stand in there this winter. I've seriously thought about buying one of those lift king car lifts for $2000 to get more floor space.
