Plugged the 08 civic in last night ,
wake up this morning go to use autostart , i have the pro 9000
it give me a strt err 08 , which is tach or voltage sensing failure
\
so i run out side and start the car no problem ,
But there is a clicking sound comming from under the dash ,

a relay or something ..

Any installers know what is wrong ..

I had it installed at speedtech , so I will be heading there
on monday of i can

Try to press the tach sensing button on the brain, maybe it needs to re-learn it. The car has to be idling obviously when you press it, i think you will get 1 or 2 parking light flashes if it learns in correctly.

The clicking sounds are just the relays.

have speedtech do it through voltage sense if its automatic or alternator sense if its standard.

I find the standard tach setting very unreliable for civics.
