Just curious. Does this freezing weather effect tires?
When I'm driving around 85km/h+ I start getting vibrations. I thought it might of been from hitting a bump pretty hard causing a alignment issue. But then my dad said he was having vibration issues at higher speeds as well on his impreza. I told my friend he said he was having vibrations at 95km/h+.
I'm just curious if this happens because of cold weather. Maybe I should wait out till the weather is warmer to see if it gets better:dunno:
Or by chance we all might need alignements haha.
Oh I did check my tire pressure. A week ago they were fine. I checked it out today they were pretty low.
Thanks

You could have a build up of ice/snow inside the wheels thereby throwing off the balance.

That's exactly what it is.

When some tires are cold and the car hasn't moved in a few days, they develop a flat spot on it that can throw off the tire's roundness. Usually when the tire warms up, the bump is forced out but perhaps the extreme cold weather lately has just delayed that time.

If the snow/ice/dirt-in-wheel isn't the cause, perhaps just drive around for a little while longer than you normally would and see if the bump I mentioned goes away.

Snow and Ice buildup on my steelies caused this a few years ago when I parked outside for work.
