Ok so I have called almost every towing company in the yellow pages. Most of them are not booking for 3-5 days because of the weather. The bigger company's are emergency only. The couple that are booking are saying 8-12 hours.

So anyone on here have a tow truck or know someone that does? I need my car towed for about 5-8 km In the N.E.

Will pay cash

Do you have an AMA membership? I'm guessing no, but call them anyway.
My friends needed a tow on Saturday.
They were quoted a 6 hour wait time, but in reality, the guys was apparently out there within 20 minutes.

It also helps if your car breaks down in front of a bus stop or someplace where they will bump your priority level. :)

Dont have ama membership. But yeah once i told most people its in frount of my house they just said sorry buddy call back in a day or 2 lol. Ill try giving ama a call

AMA is the same as all the other tow companies. Maybe even busier since they have a bigger client base.

They were playing the AMA recording on the radio coming in today showing how busy all the tow companies are.

tell the bigger companies that you car is blocking the street, that should classify it emergency :P

Good luck trying to get a tow truck if the car is in front of you house, they will not touch it until the cold snap passes, my friend had the same problem as you since the vehicle is in a safe spot and not interrupting traffic they will not touch it.

Got the car towed, Noone else would come but city wide came after about 4 hrs lol. Charged 150 tho:banghead: lol
