Xmas presents for gf - name a star?

Has anyone ever named a star from those sites on the internet? How was it and did you ever get a chance to see what it looked like? I wanted to get one of those packages but I don't know if it will get to canada in time and I really don't want a late present.
Do you think I should buy a virtual certificate, print it out, and then add my own touch for accessories? Also, is there anywhere in calgary or surrounding area I could go to name a star?

to the OP, i realize your intentions are good, and this would definatly be a unique gift, but girls do like things instead of having stars named after them. Buy her something nice instead

If you really think she'd love the idea (im sure theres girls out there that would love the idea) buy her something and name a star after her too, this way she wont be upset if she doesnt get anything else.

Lol thanks for the advice. She does want this and she keeps insisting to get it..for the past year :nut: I will probably get her more tiffany or something of that sort. You can't buy a girl clothes, it's impossible :bullshit:
