chances may be 1 in 32 because my neighberhood is so small.

borders are 10th street nw to 4th street nw
16 ave N to crescent hill.

if the odds were 1 in 32 you'd be seeing a break in on every block multiple times, in the last 5 years there has been 1 break in on my street.

It's just the total number of houses in the community divided by the break-ins reported last year. So the guy above where there's only 40 houses it would seem 1 got nailed last year skewing the stats.

exactly, the reason rosedale is last, and crescent (right beside rosedale) was much higher was because crescent has MANY more people, but is in the exact same location...
