I need your advice.

I am about to sell a car privately. Once I have the payment, what paperwork do I need to give to the new owner ? Registration and that's it ?

Write up two bills of sale

One for you and one for them. You keep one and they keep the other. Also give them the Section 2 of the registration. Dont worry about filling it in, its just easier for the registry when they go to register the car.

Make sure you keep the bill of sale in case the guy doesnt register it. If he doesnt register the car in his name, it stays in yours. If he abandons the vehicle, you are on the line for the fees unless you can prove you sold the car.
