What is the internal wastegate set at for your turbos? I'm referring to any of the dsm's whether it is laser, talon or eclipse.

Sweet! does u know anyone that's selling one? Oh yah, is that what it is set at or is that what the engine sees after the pressure drop?

That's probably what you would see at the intake manifold, after pressure drop (guess).

Well that depends which turbo we're talking about. I honestly don't know what the wastegate is set at, since it is controlled by a solenoid. Stock boost on the 1G (14b turbo) is about 11 PSI (I think), on the 2G (T25 turbo) it's 12 PSI "or so". And yes, that's the pressure reading taken from the manifold with an aftermarket gauge (not the useless stock one). :)

I wish I had a turbo to sell, because that'd mean I have a bigger one to replace it with... :(

I really don't think the wastegate is 'set' to anything. With the proper boost controller hooked up you can boost as high as you want with no interferance. But i could be wrong, internal wastegates are ass anyways, get an external.

Yup, that's what I was getting at... ;)

I suppose there is a physical limit to the wastegate arm say, but you'd probably blow something else up before you found out what that is. :dunno:
