My normal OOP mechanic lives in country hilld and range road, I don't have insurance right now, so was wondering if anyone knew an OOP shop in close to shawnessey/bridlewood or if there is a mechanic who is able to come over to do an OOP on a RHD car.

Thanks

Getting a mechanic who will come to u is EXTREMELY unlikely.
Get AMA membership, the cost is like $100 which will cover your first tow. Take it to Folk Automotive, they have a great rep and offer a really cheap OOP.

Neither of them will go to your house and do them. They do them on site at their shop. You cant get an OOPI done at your home anymore because it has to be done in a certified shop.

japanese tire?
I think they are DOT,
I had a gto this summer with japanese tires + good rubber and it passed no problem
I'm not worried about the car passing at all, I only need dot lights and may be front breaks, what I'm worrried about it getting the car to the shop locations cause it does not go anywhere in this weather (summer rubber)

+1 for Shelby Automotive. My car passed on first try however I did do my homework and address everything I learned of ie: headlights DOT, new DOT tires, brakes had decent meat left, no leaks, added reflective corners front and back and DRL. I think the only thing not working was the power antennae which wasn't an issue.

You could just drive it to the nearest shop to you that does OOP inspections without insurance. I did this a few years back, because i competely forgot about what day that inspection was to be completed by. They didn't check the insurance or anything, they just want their money.

Wouldn't recommend it but it could save you a lot of hassle from getting somebody to come to your house.
