Same as how much nissan paid motor trend and automobile for naming the gt-r car of the year?I don't think any amount of money could bribe a man who hates american cars as much as he does unless it was actualy a good car.

It is a remarkable car, and if you had watched the epsiodes where they did the salt flat tests, it was a "challenge" it didn't appear they were looking forward to.

However, in the three cases, they were all driving exceptional cars.

That ZR1, regardless of make is a furious machine
The price? Thats what I think makes it the best car of the year

Clarkson despises American cars but he loves the ZR1 so it is not surprising he chose it as his favorite. It is a tremendous achievement, but unfortunately it is the end of cheap power and fast supercars. End of an era.
