correct me if im wrong but I do belive that the battery grip enables you to use AA or AAA batteries insted of the standard brick that comes with the camera?

cityhunter2501,

I'm going to keep it together to sell.

As for if they come together? Depends on how you buy the Grip wether it comes with the battery or not. You can buy an accessory kit and then it probably comes with ( but you still pay for it ). Or you can buy them each seperately.

Stine,

Some grips come with an extra battery carrier that will take double AA's and it'll fit inside the grip. But they are seperate from what the camera batteries fit on. This grip only came with the one for the Camera batteries.

^^ I do belive that your only allowed to "bump" your topic once a week, maybe this is why...

im intereested in the camera, altho im not sure if I would use the SLR as much as I would hope to. being a point and shoot person.

Hey sent you a pm. As for being a point and shoot person, think of this as the ultimate point and shoot. The auto focus is fast and smooth. Great all around lens in the 18-55.
