DMX is a violent SOB.....every other song has "Suck my dick" in it.

But if I worked out that's what I would listen too....that and Dr. Dre always get's me going.

I once met this guy on my swim team when i was younger... and he was the ONLY person i Ever knew that didn't listen to music with one exception... he had one tape and on this tape he had "Eye of the tiger" over and over and over... again. For as long as i was on the team (8years) He would listen to it before his races... and he just kicked ass. I have yet to try that

actually to me i think any kind of music with a hard and fast beat with soem motivational (or violent) lyrics works well for me. so in general i perfer gangster rap, n hard rock

I've been listening to Limp Bizkit a lot lately during workouts.

The mix between intensity and cool rhymes works well for me.

Check out the song "Sanitarium" by Limp Bizkit. They did a cover for it at the MTV Icon for Metallica, and made the song better than it every was before in my opinion!

AC/DC, Linkin Park, Rollins Band, Rob Zombie, Metallica, Some Van Halen (not all works), Hendrix from time to time, Ozzy Osbourne...anything hard and fast.

The gym I was at used to have Jack playing, maybe it was the time I was there but it was far to soft and mellow for my taste for working out.

I definitely prefer the rock/punk stuff when I'm working out... funny thing is I don't listen to that stuff much any other time! lol... I just got in the habit of hearing that when I worked at the gym in Regina, they'd always put on the rock station there, and after a while, I started just lovin the beats!!

Dropkick Murphys, Misfits, Slayer, Geto Boys, Descendants, Fatboy Slim, Bassbin Twins, NOFX, etc.

Basically anything that makes me angry.
