Okay, a friend of mine got me hooked on Initial D, and now I've got my card with a ITR... The game is great, although expensive. Can anyone tell me of all of the locations in Calgary of the game (this is for version 2, dunno if my card would work for ver. 1). I know of the one at the University and there is one by Deerfoot/McKnight at Mike's... How about anywhere else? Both these places are somewhat far away for me.

Thanks for reading my post first YCB.
As for the one at Chinook, I think that's a version 1, not 2, dunno if my card would work...

K, first I'm a video game freak - I played it in West Ed. And frankly I didn't like the driving mechanics at all. There was virtually no feeling of responsiveness and the cars drifted on every corner (like they were on ice).
Do I just suck, or is the game pure arcade and not meant to be a simulator? I loved the original Ridge Racer mechanics btw.

Dude its a drifting game.. obviously they aren't going to make it hard to drift. In fact, like you said you can drift around any corner. Pure arcade.

Actually, it's 2 bucks for a card for version two, seen it both at the university and at mike's, so you got a better deal than others. Anyone try inserting a ver.2 card into a ver.1 machine? Probably doesn't work, does it?

If you have the money, it takes some game sto get used to. But after you do away with the annoyance of infinite control, it becomes fun to play.
