LF: appliance mechanic?? (need help ASAP!)

my washer (clothes) isn't draining the water, i think there is something stuck somewhere, i was wondering if there was anybody on beyond that knows how to fix it, i need it fix asap!

Try messin with the switch on top. You know where when you open the lid the washer stops? Push down on it with a screw driver.

take a look in the pipe? see if you can find something in there?

i know a friend of mine hired someone and they found a pair of sock in there..god knows how the washer sucked it up and tried to drain it

that's the first thing i would try

Run the washer to where the spin cycle is (that is where the machine trys to drain the water) if you can hear the pump going there is something clogging it, but if you don't hear it trying to pump the water the pump is probably done.
