Continued profitable growth has given rise to the need to expand our manufacturing team to meet our new opportunities and challenges. We are looking for a skilled and motivated employee to join our team. This is a three (3) month contract position with a possibility of developing into a full time permanent position.
The Role:
Reporting to the Production Manager the successful candidate will be responsible material preparation and sensor pad assembly. Materials consist mainly of fabrics, adhesive tapes and cables.
• Material preparation
o Preparation of material according to documented processes and/or instructions from Sr. Mfg Specialists and/or Production Manager
o Monitor quality of incoming and outgoing materials and highlight any issues to Sr. Manufacturing Specialist and/or Production Manager for immediate resolution
• Sensor pad assembly
o Assembly of sensor pads according to documented processes
o Inspect and repair of sensor assemblies.
The Candidate:
It is important that the successful candidate possess the following education, experience and personality:
Education:
• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
Experience:
• Good hands on crafts & sewing type skills.
• Good with numbers and measurements.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Electronics and/or cable manufacturing experience an asset.
Personal Characteristics:
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Team player
