Calgary Car Shows

Heyy,
Within the past year i have really gotten into tuners and shit.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any car shows coming up in 2009.
Do we have anything like Hot Import Nights,
where it's not just new cars?

I'm definitely going to all of them.

World of Wheels is coming up although it's dominated primarily by older muscle cars.

theres DTP and possibly V8less but i havent seen that in a few years. i know there are a ton of sponsored shows in and around calgary all year round you just have to look/listen for them to pop up.

DTP is in may. WoW is very hard to get into, and is nearly prohibitively expensive unless you are shop sponsored/89coupe.

v8less is closer to june/july.

the tuner shows are alot less common i found, not many shows worth going to in 08 for tuners

Driven to Perform.. as mentione usually around end of May early June, mid June would be nice though.. less rain.. it was brutal trying to get a car to DTP last year. :)

I'm in the middle of arranging a Toyota only show as well for the summer.

Just keep an eye on your car if you enter it, people are idiots when it comes to car shows. Sitting on the hood, spilling food on it, etc. The one show I entered I had my car in a shops booth so it was watched the entire time, a guy I knows Prelude wasn't so lucky.

imports, tuners, sport compacts are becoming more prevalent. And its not as hard to get into as you say although a civic with stickers or jdm mad tyteness might not be that easy.
